Miqat ("the App") is developed and operated by Muhammet Eren ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We built Miqat to help you keep your prayers on time — not to collect your data. We collect the minimum needed for the App to work.

When you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive a unique user identifier and, depending on the provider and your choices, your name and email address. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (a Google service). We do not see or store your passwords.
To power streaks, statistics, and syncing across your devices, we store your prayer completion records (which prayers you marked as prayed and when), streak data (including streak freezes), and your Premium subscription history. This data is stored in Cloud Firestore (a Google service) and is linked to your account identifier.
If you use or share a referral code, we store the code, its usage status, and the account identifiers involved, in order to grant rewards and prevent abuse.
The App uses your device's location only on your device to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for your area. Your location is never uploaded to our servers and never leaves your device. You can also set your city manually without granting location access.
Miqat's focus feature uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework to help you limit distracting apps during prayer windows. All Screen Time data — including which apps you choose to restrict and your device activity — is processed entirely on your device by Apple's frameworks. We cannot see, access, collect, or transmit this information. It never reaches our servers or any third party.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase information (such as product, price, and subscription status), but never your payment details. Payment information (e.g., your credit card) is handled solely by Apple and is never visible to us. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
